Do you want to tackle the digital divide, and reduce electronic waste? Are you interested in supporting young people in local communities?

DigiLocal is an award winning charity giving under-represented young people the opportunity to discover and develop their digital talents. Our laptop repurposing initiative is both addressing the digital divide and reducing electronic waste.

You will be based at our partner site with Bristol Sport Foundation (Ashton Gate Stadium). You will be collecting donations from partners, handling initial sorting, liaising with our volunteers, and managing onward distribution to the community. 

Our community partners then make the decisions on who is allocated a laptop.

This is not a technical role. We need someone able to organise themselves and others.

You will need to be self-motivated and able to work independently. 

Particulars:
● We are looking to appoint a part-time role (2.5 days per week each) for a fixed term of 12 months
● Your salary will be £9,880 p.a 2.5 days per week (£19.760 pro rata, UK Living Wage)
● You will need a full, clean, driving licence and access to a car.

DigiLocal CoordinatorCould you be our DigiLocal Coordinator?

Looking for a flexible part time job? Interested in supporting local communities?

DigiLocal is an award winning charity giving under-represented young people the opportunity to discover and develop their digital talents. We do this by hosting coding clubs in venues across Bristol.

You will be helping to coordinate our club delivery. This will involve liaising with venues and volunteers to make sure everyone is happy and clubs are running smoothly. You will also send regular update email notifications to parents using our contact management system.

You may also get involved in working with, or developing new partnerships with companies to recruit volunteers. This could include ‘pitching’ DigiLocal to those companies and / or supporting our digital marketing.

This is not a technical role. You will need to be self-motivated and able to work independently.

● We are looking for a part-time Coordinator (2.5 days per week) for a fixed term of 6 months
● Your salary will be £9,880 p.a 2.5 days per week (£19.760 pro rata, UK Living Wage)
